Freebirds: 70s-inspired design fitted with optics from ZEISS.

A classic design combined with a high-tech lens from Carl Zeiss, the Freebirds from VALLON are a winning combination of style and performance.

As ski goggle design becomes increasingly dominated by large logos and outlandish REVO-lenses, VALLON has stayed true to the roots and replicated the minimalistic style of goggles past. The smooth rounded frame is inspired by the sleek design of former brands such as Baruffaldi, and the striped multi-colored strap is a throwback to 70s racing goggles. The standard lens is fully mirror-coated, a staple of ski sunglasses at the time, but the lens is interchangeable and other options include smoke and orange tints.

The lenses have been developed together with market leaders Carl Zeiss, renowned for their world-leading optical quality. The lens has a warm, brown tint which enhances contrasts while the mirror coating reduces eye strain and adds an additional protective layer for your eyes.

Spherical frames have become the go-to-design in the last few years due to the wide field of vision, and the Freebirds™ offer exceptionally good peripheral vision despite not being overly big. The frame has been designed to fit perfectly with major helmet brands to avoid a goggle gap.

The goggle is packed with many additional high-tech features, such as flow vents, triple-layer foam, dual-layered anti-fog lens, anti-scratch, and silicone-backed straps. If you want a goggle that truly sets itself apart for all the right reasons, we'd highly recommend the Freebirds™.

Freebirds™ are available here from the VALLON store.
